Practice Policy

Effective health care depends upon an honest exchange of information between patient and professional.  We require up-to-date information on your general medical health to be able to deliver your periodontal care safely. We undertake to ensure that this information remains confidential.

As a specialist periodontal practice we do not undertake general dental care. We work with you and your general dental practitioner to help you maintain dental health - it is important that you continue to see your general dentist for your routine care.  With your permission we will send reports to your dentist to keep them updated with your care and you will receive copies.

You have a right of access to, and copies of, your clinical records which remain the property of the practice.

Payment Terms

Payment at the time of treatment is expected.  For your convenience we offer Eft-Pos facilities and accept both Visa and Mastercard.

Time Keeping

We ask that you arrive for your appointment in plenty of time and regret that late-comers may have to reschedule their appointment.

While we strive to keep to our appointment times, our priority is to provide our patients with quality care and circumstances may result in us running late on occasion.  We shall endeavour to keep you informed of any significant delays.

Cancellation Policy

We request 48 hours notice of cancellation (except for illness or emergency) in order that someone on our waiting list can be offered that appointment. A fee may be charged if notice is not given or for  non-attendance of appointments.
